It’s been a withering couple of weeks—including a stretch of time in Salt Lake City, where the grief over my brother and nephew hangs low and tight, and then the sudden tragic loss of a friend who’d been family to me for more than half my life. My words need some time to gather, but here are some words about loss from one of the greatest hearts around.
